Chulu west peak is one of the most famous climbing peaks in the Annapurna region. It is 6419m. Above sea label and it is located mid-western part of Nepal. This climbing peak combines with the Annapurna circuit as well. After summiting the chulu west peak you can continue your trek to Thorngla Pass an altitude of 5416m.  This peak is particularly technically not that difficult if you are physically fit and have some normal knowledge about climbing you can summit the peak. Though our climbing guide always will be with you and he will show and teach you about basic training at chulu west base camp.

Chulu’s west peak route offers magnificent and tantalizing views of the mountain. This mountain is surrounded by the Annapurna range and Chulu Peak. Chulu west peak offers not only beautiful views of the peak and mountains it also offers a unique culture of Tibiten, Gurung, and Magar as well as an old Buddhist monastery and a long Mani wall with beautiful prayer flags many species of animals and birds such as leopard, mountain goat, marmot, blue sheep, mountain yak and nak, monkey-langur, and many others and this area is popular who love flora and fauna and vegetation and more than 350 species of birds and animals can be found in Annapurna conservation area.

 

Itinerary

  • Day -1. Arrive at Kathmandu international airport. Transfer to hotel. An altitude of 1400m.
  • Day -2. Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley-an altitude of 1400m
  • Day-3. Drive Kathmandu to Jagat at an altitude of 1410m. 8 to 9 hrs
  • Day-4. Jagat to dharapani an altitude of 1960m. 6 to 7 hrs
  • Day-5. Dharapani to chame an altitude of 2710m. 6 to 7 hrs
  • Day-6. Chame to pisang an altitude of 3300m. 5 to 6 hrs
  • Day-7. Pisang to manang an altitude of 3530m. 6 to 7 hrs
  • Day-8. Rest day at Manang
  • Day-9. Manang to ledar an altitude of 4200m. 5 to 6 hrs
  • Day-10. Ledar to base camp an altitude of 4800m. 4 to 5 hrs
  • Day-11. Base camp to high camp at an altitude of 5130m. 3 to 4 hrs
  • Day-12. Summit Chulu west and back to base camp at an altitude of 4800m. 6 to 7 hrs.
  • Day-13. Reserve day if the weather is bad
  • Day- 14. Base camp to thorang phedi at an altitude of 4430m. 5 to 6 hrs.
  • Day-15. Thorang Phedi to multipath at an altitude of 3830m. 8 to 9 hrs.
  • Day-16. Multipath to Jomsom an altitude of 2730m. 5 to 6 hrs.
  • Day-17. Drive Jomsom to pokhara at an altitude of 830m. 8 to 9 hrs
  • Day-18. Sightseeing day at Pokhara
  • Day-19. Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu at an altitude of 1400m. 6 to 7 hrs
  • Day -20. Depature day. back to home
