Ganjala Pass Trek is an unforgettable adventure for those seeking a challenging trek in over Langtang region of Nepal which is 5700m above sea level. Ganjala pass treks offer stunning views of the Himalayan range like Mount Sisapangma 8027m. Langtang Lirung 7200m. lagtang himal 6641m. Best view point Kyanjin ri 4773m. Yala peak 5478m. This trek is also known for its stunning alpine wide landscape, unique opportunity to explore remote villages, ancient Monastery and Stupa, lush forest, dense bamboo forest where we are able see red panda, Langur monkey, Himalayan thar, various bird species, wild pig and Himalayan Yak and Nak as well as you will encounter local Tamang and Sherpa village where you will get chance to experience their unique culture and hospitality.
Ganjala Pass is the highest elevation in the trek and it is considered strenuous due to its high altitude, steep ascent, and descents so should be well-prepared before the trek. after Kyanjin Gompa to Tarkegyang, there is no lodge or tea shop so we have to do a camping trek for 3 nights These three days there is no internet and network service so you must carry a satellite phone for emergency calls. The best season for the Ganjala pass trek is during the spring [March to May] and autumn [September to mid-November] when the weather is stable and clear.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival an international airport at Kathmandu transfer to hotel. An altitude of 1400m.

Day 2 : Kathmandu to Syabru Besi An altitude of 1,460m. Duration: 6-7 hours.

Day 3 : Trek from Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel An altitude of 2,470m. Duration: 5-6 hours.

Day 4 : Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village An altitude of 3,450m Duration: 5-6 hours.

Day 5 : Trek from Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa An altitude of 3860m. Duration: 3-4 hours.

Day 6 : Acclimatization day at Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 7 : Trek from Kyanjin Gompa to Ganja-la base camp An altitude of 4300m. Duration: 4 to 5 hours.

Day 8 : Trek from Ganja-la base camp to Keldang An altitude of 4280m  via Ganja La Pass An altitude of 5170m Duration: 7-9 hours.

Day 9 : Trek from Keldang to Drukpa An altitude of 4000m Duration: 5-6 hours.

Day 10 : Trek from Drukpa  to Tarke-Gang  An altitude of 2,590m Duration: 6-7 hours.

Day 11: Drive Tarke-Gang to Kathmandu 6 to 7 hours.
