Langtang trek is only a short distance trek away from Kathmandu Valley. This trek is easy and the shortest trek in Nepal. In the Langtang region, we can do many treks, but the most popular is the Langtang Valley Trek. This trek is also known as the popular Valley of Glaciers, and it is the most beautiful glacier in Nepal and is surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains and peaks. The Langtang Valley trek passes through Tamang village-Langtang National Park and to Kyanjin RI.

Kyanjin RI is one of the best viewpoints of Langtang Valley and Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, with the Massif Mountains.During the trek, we can see a dense forest of rhododendron and bamboo flora and fauna, local yak cheese factories, wild black pigs, Himalayan deer, Himalayan bears, monkeys, and red pandas and birds. Langtang trek is popular in Tamang culture, the long Mani wall, and old monasteries. Langtang Village was destroyed by an earthquake in 2015. However, they rebuild some teahouses and lodges. That’s why nowadays we can visit there easily.

Itinerary

Day -1. Arrive at Kathmandu international airport. Transfer to hotel. An altitude of 1400m.

Day -2. Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley-an altitude of 1400m.

Day-3. Drive to Shyaprubesi at an altitude of 1430m. 8 hours

Day-4. Syaprubesi to lama hotel at an altitude of 2500m. 6 to 7 hours.

Day-5. lama hotel to Langtang village an altitude of 3450m. 5 to 6 hours.

Day- 6. Langtang village to kyanjingompa 3830m. 4 to 5 hours.

Day-7. explore to cherku ri 5150m.

Day-8. kyanjing gomba to lama hotel at an altitude of 3450m. 6 to 7 hours.

Day-9.  Lama Hotel to Syaprubesi at an altitude of 1430m 6 to 7 hours.

Day-10. syapru besi to Kathmandu at an altitude 1400m. 8 hours

Day -11. Departure back home…
