Pikey peak trek

Pikey Peak is located in the lower Everest region. This is an incredible panoramic viewpoint of the Everest range and other mountains. If you are looking for a short trek in the Everest region near Kathmandu this is a good trek route. If you are feeling very fit or short on time this can be done in 4-5 days. But a more leisurely 7-8 days trek allows for a physical workout without the stress.

The pikey peak trek is famous for sunrise and sunset views of Mount Everest and other mountains. This is the best viewpoint of Mount Everest 8848.48m. Numbur Himal 6958m. Makalu 8481m.kanchanjanga 8586m. Lhotse 8516m. Nuptse 7861m. Thamserku 6623m. Kusum gangkaru 6367m. And others many more.

It offers dense forest

This trek offers an ancient Buddhist monastery of thupten schooling gompa and long Mani walls, stupa, as well as enjoying the unique Sherpa culture and traditions.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel an altitude of 1400m.

Day 2. Sightseeing around Kathmandu an altitude of 1400m.

Day 3. Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap an altitude of 2,932m. 7-8 hours.

Day 4. Trek from Dhap to Jhapre an altitude of 2,829m. 5-6 hours.

Day 5 Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Peak Base Camp an altitude of 3,640m. 5-6 hours.

Day 6. Hike to Pikey Peak and trek to Junbesi an altitude of 2,700m. 5-6 hours.

Day 7 .Trek from Junbesi to Phaplu an altitude of 2,469m. 5-6 hours.

Day 8. Flight or Drive from Phaplu to Kathmandu an altitude of  1400m. 25 minutes by flight.

Day 9 departure day
